Jack served as our club president several times, as club treasurer, a National Judge and Referee in several disciplines and USFS treasurer. He, Morry Stillwell, and Ken Taylor initiated the concept of Showcase and started the then innovative concept of a theatrical skating competition. The results of that experiment speak for themselves with the immensely successful National Showcase competition. Jack was very active and influential for many years. He was always a staple at Governing Council and was an advocate of making sure the sport advanced in a positive way. He was one of a kind and the club was fortunate to have him lead us.
