We hope that all of you and your families and friends are all doing well, and staying safe, during this difficult time.
Because of the current continuing situation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel LA OPEN this year. We understand with the rink closures and social distancing, there has been no time to prepare programs, and there is still a lot of uncertainty as to when we will be able to resume any sense of normalcy.
Please remain safe and continue to practice social distancing as long as the order is in place.
At the same time, please remember to check-in with friends and family, especially those who live alone or may be completely isolated.
There are many safe-distance methods that allow you to do this and also let others know that you are okay:
• Post on Facebook or Instagram
• Do video chats on FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, Zoom, etc.
• Use texting tools like iMessage or WhatsApp
• Take virtual off-ice classes with coaches/teammates
• Chat via phone
Stay safe and we hope to be able to resume our normal schedules soon.
